James Randi on Carl Sagan, his friend, and other subjects.
I wish I had gotten to meet Carl Sagan, and Richard Feynman (also mentioned by Randi here), but I did not. On the one day I did get to meet Randi, we spoke mostly of these two friends of his, and how he missed them.
Similarly, I have met others who have met a man I would very much like to have met: Christopher Hitchens. That’s certainly better than nothing.
This is one way atheists can deal with mortality. Nothing supernatural is needed.
